West of Scotland Land and Planning Team
The Cala West business continues to grow in Scotland, with around 22 residential schemes contributing to our ongoing development pipeline. Our current pipeline will produce 2900 homes, including 250 affordable homes, stretching from Stirling to South Ayrshire, and from Renfrewshire to Falkirk. Our core activity to date has revolved around East Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire, together with Glasgow, North and South Lanarkshire and Falkirk, but we want to deliver new build Cala homes in multiple Local Authority areas simultaneously.

The Land and Development team is always on the lookout for land for sale in the Central Belt of Scotland including Glasgow and other surrounding areas. From urban sites of circa one acre to strategically significant sites of 50-100 acres, there really is no barrier to our ambitions to grow the Cala business..
We work collaboratively with other homebuilders too, often taking a lead role in project planning and the delivery of common infrastructure. Ultimately, sustainable growth remains our priority and we would be delighted to hear from any landowners or landowner representatives who have land for sale in Glasgow or other surrounding areas in the Central Belt. Newton Mearns, Maidenhill
Cala worked in partnership with Taylor Wimpey and East Renfrewshire Council to deliver planning consent for the main section of the Maidenhill Strategic Development Opportunity (SDO) that included the majority of the new homes (800+), the new primary school and the off-site sewer upgrade that unlocked the development potential of the wider SDO.

Gilston Farm, Polmont
